All cheeses and perishable items are cut, processed and shipped Monday-Wednesday. This is to ensure that there is no delay in shipping over the weekend and that your order arrives to you in great condition. Due to this fact, orders received late in the week will be shipped at the beginning of the next week. UPS – Actual shipping costs will be calculated during checkout based on the shipping carrier rates, package weight and your location (zip code).

If you are within a 2 day transit time of us (CA, OR, WA, ID, NV, UT & AZ.) we can safely use UPS Ground shipping all year round for cold items. For customers located outside of these states we ship USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Shipping (see below). We do not warranty any shipments to destinations outside the continental U.S. against heat damage, so we recommend that you only order cold items during your cold season if you live outside the continental U.S.


– For customers who do not live on west coast, here are a few helpful tips for taking advantage of USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Shipping:

Perishable Items: For most states not on the west coast, all cold items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Shipping, which includes a foam cooler and blue ice to ensure your product arrives cold*. Below is a guide to help you decide how much product will fit into one of these coolers.

MEDIUM FLATRATE BOX ($16.45): 1-4 Lbs. of cold product will fit into the small foam cooler that fits inside the medium flat-rate box (this includes foam cooler and heat warranty*)

LARGE FLATRATE BOX ($22.75): Up to 4-6 Lbs. of cold product will fit into the large foam cooler that fits inside the large flat-rate box (this includes foam cooler and heat warranty*)

If you are uncertain about what will fit into a flat-rate box, simply put the items you want into our store shopping cart and email the contents to us ( before placing the order. We will get back to you with our recommendations about what will fit.

*Some customers choose to ship without a cooler and blue ice during winter months in order to be able to ship more product per box and save on shipping cost. If you choose to ship without a cooler and blue ice we cannot warranty your purchase against heat damage and cannot accept returns due to such circumstances.

Without a cooler up to 12 Lbs of cold product will fit into the medium flat-rate box.

Without a cooler up to 18 Lbs of cold product will fit into the large flat-rate box.


For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii & non-continental U.S., we are always happy to look at your order and see if we can save you on shipping cost. The shipping cost to these states tend to be calculated high for a variety of reasons, but often (though not always) we are able to save you on shipping cost by using flat rate shipping. We can then refund you for any cost difference.


We guarantee all products we sell and will provide a complete product refund for all non-perishable items returned to us within 21 days of original shipment date. Perishable items need to be returned within 72 hours of receipt to receive refund. Return charges will be deducted from refund unless product was damaged or wrong product received.


Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. All claims must be filed within 48 hours of receipt. We will do everything possible to re-route orders for timely delivery but cannot be responsible for damaged or compromised product due to the following:

1. Delayed deliveries due to weather or other “Acts of God”
2. Incorrect addresses (* Please be sure to include apartment, suite or floor numbers, as needed.)
3. Unopened shipments (all boxes are clearly marked “Perishable”)
4. Gift shipments sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable to receive their shipment. Please notify recipient of the pending arrival of perishables!
5. Items that have been discarded or consumed.
